The Governing Body of this expanding school are looking to appoint well qualified, highly motivated, enthusiastic and innovative Teaching Assistants who will have a significant impact on learning and who are committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for pupils with social, emotional and mental health difficulties. The persons appointed will be required to be flexible around the needs of the school. Some of these posts are to work one to one with some of our most vulnerable learners and some are as a result of opening new base classrooms. You will: v Be able to support teaching and learning across KS2, 3 and 4 in more than one subject v Be a committed Teaching Assistant and work in line with the schools new behaviour regulation system v Be able to modify challenging behaviour in a firm but supportive manner v Be child centred v Be flexible with a good sense of humour As The Observatory School grows we are creating a team which has high expectations and sets high standards for both pupils and colleagues.
