Teaching Assistant – Level 2 job summary
We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant who really cares about helping students to succeed.
We are looking for someone who is kind, reliable and has a passion for working in the classroom or one to one, is enthusiastic and builds rapport well with staff and students alike.
You will be a Teaching Assistant working in a supportive, highly skilled and motivated SEND Team, making a positive impact on the lives of The Pingle Academy’s students. No two days will be the same. You will be supporting young people across a range of contexts and lessons.
At the academy, we offer a wide range of professional development opportunities. You might want to use your role as a Teaching Assistant as a springboard into teaching or develop your SEND knowledge and skills to progress to HTLA. Whatever your ambition, we aim to be supportive.
Successful candidates will work either in the Learning Support Base or in the main academy depending on their experience and skills. You will have the opportunity to complete a TA Apprenticeship. The ideal candidate should possess NVQ level 2 or above for Teaching Assistants.
Full-time and part-time hours are available, and temporary and permanent contracts are available.
