Post: Teaching Assistant Level 2 (2 posts)
Salary: Grade 4, Level 1-4 (£19,195 - £20,974 per annum) reduced pro rata
Contract: Permanent Contract
Start date: 5th September 2022
• Vacancy 1 Hours: 27.5 hours per week; term time only
• Vacancy 2 Hours: 16.25 per week, term time only (mornings)
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, term time only
Plus, additional requirement to be part of Midday Supervisor Assistant (MSA) rota (£9.50 per hour)
St Aelred’s Catholic Primary School is seeking to recruit two caring teaching assistant (level 2). We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed practitioners who can support the teaching and learning of pupils with Special Educational Needs, working 1:1 when needed. The successful candidates will be those who can:
• build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
• engage and motivate children to learn.
• are committed to children’s welfare and safeguarding.
• support the Catholic ethos of our school.
• have a fair, positive and calm approach to ensuring pupils meet high expectations of good behaviour.
• have good standards of maths and English.
• are an effective communicator.
• are cheerful, positive, and adaptable.
• contribute to, and work collaboratively within, our enthusiastic and forward-looking team.
