   is seeking to appoint a part time

Level 2 Teaching Assistant

on a named child contract

Payscale: Grade 2, Point 5 (FTE  £21,575 per year, approx. £6,011 Pro-rata)

12 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

Commencing: as soon as possible

About You

The ideal candidate will be an individual who:

·       Has experience of working with children or as a Teaching Assistant working 1:1 with a child

·       Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people

·       Is enthusiastic, ambitious and serious about improving children’s life chances through education

·       Is highly organised, conscientious and able to set clear priorities when managing a busy workload

·       Can work cooperatively and communicate clearly with fellow colleagues, parents and pupils

·       Has a ‘can-do’ attitude and has the ability to use their initiative

·       Can work flexibly and professionally


About Role

We are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team, working 12 hours per week, 39 weeks per year.  The purpose of this role is to support a child 1:1 in class with their learning, education and development.
