What skills and experience we're looking for
Contract: Teaching Assistant Level 2 (Fixed Term) to commence from 4th January 2023
How would you like to work each day with happy, inquisitive and enthusiastic children in a friendly, innovative and caring school?
The Executive Headteacher, children, staff and governors are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and skilled Level 2 Teaching Assistant, to provide excellent classroom support in our schools. The role will include assisting in pupil learning, personal self-care skills, and in managing pupil behaviour, under the direction of classroom teachers and/or other senior members of staff.
You are required to:
- Have good subject knowledge in both English and Mathematics
- Have excellent communication skills both oral and written and be able to keep effective records
- Have relevant experience/qualifications linked to the requirements of the position
- Be able to work independently with individuals or small groups of children on given tasks
