Incredibly rare opportunity to work in a fantastically friendly, supportive, small, rural lower school

Would you like to join the staff of a friendly, Values based village school? We are searching for an enthusiastic, committed teaching assistant who is passionate about supporting teaching and learning and believes in the education of the whole child.

We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work supporting specific children within a class (and then to move with them as they progress through the school) in order to continue to provide exceptional support to the children in our school and maintain our current excellent academic standards.

The successful applicant will also be offered a relief Midday Supervision roles (paid at £11.59 an hour) as required.

All roles are offered on a Term-Time only basis. The Teaching Assistant contract will be linked to the support of specific children.

Hours of work: 08:45-15:30 Monday-Thursday and 08:45-14:30 Friday. N.B. a lunchbreak between 12:00-13:15 is provided, unpaid (unless applicants become relief Midday Supervisors), daily.

We are looking for a Teaching Assistants who:

  • has a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • has experience of working as a teaching assistant, ideally supporting specific pupils
  • has excellent communication skills, enabling you to work well in a team
  • will support the school in achieving its long term vision through Values Education
