We require an energetic and creative teaching assistant as soon as possible to work with our students, aged 11 – 16, including those with additional needs. The successful applicant will support our teaching and learning in the classroom as well as running some small group and one to one interventions.

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who has a passion for actively contributing to society, helping to develop tomorrow’s adults and supporting them to become confident, respectful, independent and resilient learners who achieve their potential here at St Anne’s.

This role will suit someone seeking to develop their experience in working with young people and develop an understanding of how to support their learning. It may also suit recent graduates interested in a future career in education or related field, who are keen to learn more about students’ complex and additional needs and the best ways to overcome them.

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Has warmth and empathy to establish relationships based on trust and respect with students, staff and parents
  • Is an excellent role model
  • Is qualified to Level 3 Teaching Assistant or similar, or has equivalent experience
  • Is able to apply their experience to help our students to be the best that they can be
  • Has resilience and flexibility
  • Works collaboratively
