What the school offers its staff

The Governors at Dobcroft Junior School wish to appoint a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work as part of our team of dedicated and committed support staff. We are an inclusive and caring school and offer good quality support to all our pupils including those with special educational needs.

Our children are polite, inquisitive and eager to learn and you would be working amongst a friendly, supportive staff whose strength is working as a team.

The post will involve working across the KS2; covering class teachers for meetings and short-term sickness as well as supporting individual children or small groups as directed by class teachers. The role involves teaching classes as directed by the class teacher, follow planning provided by them. If covering classes for a full day then there will be an expectation to mark children’s work and feedback to them following our school policy.
