What skills and experience we're looking for

The governors of Irk Valley Community School are seeking to appoint an outstanding, talented and enthusiastic teaching assistant to lead the support in our newly opened SEND provision.

The successful candidate must:-

-have worked in a primary or special school setting for at least 3 years.

-have substantial experience of supporting and including children with SEND.

-have experience of working as part of a staff team in the interests of the children in their care.

-be confident in the use of IT to record provision and communicate with parents.

-have a track record of communicating effectively and clearly with pupils, parents and staff.

-show a capacity and commitment to demonstrating the school’s values behaviours in their daily work.
