Teaching Assistant Level 3 (Temporary-to cover maternity) job summary
Who are we looking for?
Someone who has experience of working within an Early Years Setting (preferably a maintained school).
You must have excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
Knowledge of EYFS curriculum and assessment procedure.
Enthusiastic, passionate and willing to go the extra mile.
You will need to have: • NNEB, NVQ Level 3 for TAs or equivalent qualification.
• English GCSE (A*- C) or equivalent (new grades 4-9)
• Maths GCSE (A*- C) or equivalent (new grades).
The successful applicant will be employed for 32.5 hours/week and work 38 weeks/annum during term time and five days during the school holidays or the hours will be put towards training after school, during the school day etc. Working hours may be reviewed and amended depending on the needs of the school. The appointment is subject to a six month probationary period. At the end of this period, subject to the service having been satisfactory, your employment to this position shall be confirmed.
