The Holy Brook School are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to become an integral part of our dynamic learning community.
37 Hours per Week - Term Time Only to Include Inset Days - Required to start Term 3: 1st February 2024 - Permanent
As a Learning Team Assistant (LTA), your role involves providing assistance in the educational and emotional growth of children facing challenges related to social, emotional, and mental health.
Job Purpose
Collaborating closely with and under the guidance of the class teacher, you will play a key role in creating and sustaining a secure, captivating, and purposeful learning environment within the classroom. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in planning and delivering engaging lessons - Support pupils with diverse learning needs - Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere - Contribute to the development of educational materials - Supervise and guide pupils during various activitiesQualifications: - Relevant educational background or experience - Excellent communication and teamwork skills - Compassion and enthusiasm for pupil development- Ability to adapt to the evolving needs of the classroomAdditionally, the LTA will be tasked with overseeing and supervising pupils during playtimes as well as off-site trips and visits.
