What skills and experience we're looking for
Teaching Assistant
1 Year Fixed Term Contract, Full Time 35 hours (term time only) - £22,240 + £1,198 SEN allowance pa Plus a £100 welcome payment on successful completion of your 6 months’ probation
Monday and Tuesday 08.45 to 16.30, Wednesday and Thursday 08:45 to 16:15 and Friday 08.45 to 15.45
This role will provide administrative, resources, communication and systems support to Teachers. TAs will also assist students with lunchtime and break supervision, therapies, communication and behaviour management as well as support for off-site trips and school productions. TAs will be trained to administer medication and undertake care duties such as toileting and changing so that additional cover can be provided for staff absences and to ensure student safety. The role is a pilot and may have an option to extend at the end of the year.
