Teaching Assistant job summary
We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and welcoming special school in North West London.
Manor School provides an Ofsted-judged ‘Outstanding’ specialist learning environment for pupils with a wide range of special needs. We have a clear and strong vision of ‘love, learn, laugh’ which we achieve through creating a positive, engaging setting where all pupils can reach their full potential.
The school is split across two sites in Brent: the Primary School is on Chamberlayne Road in Kensal Rise, the Manor School Early Years Centre (MSEYC) is on Bridge Road in Neasden. We are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant at the Chamberlayne Road site.
The successful applicant will be working in a provision supporting children with complex communication, behaviour and sensory processing needs, previous experience of SEND is therefore essential.

Candidates with experience or knowledge of autism and/or a range of learning needs and disabilities
We are looking for:
- Positive, energetic and creative teaching assistants with a love of teaching and learning;
- Applicants who have a keen interest in special needs;
- People who are able to work in partnership with their class teacher;
- Teaching assistants who have experience in positively managing behaviour;
- Candidates with experience or knowledge of autism and/or a range of learning needs and disabilities
