What skills and experience we're looking for

In this role, your duties and responsibilities will include developing methods of promoting/reinforcing the children's self-esteem and independence. Assist children with key areas, e.g. language, reading, spelling, handwriting and presentation. As specified by the Class Teacher, develop appropriate resources to support children while developing strategies to support their learning, identifying the specific needs of individual children. The successful candidate will be able to confidently communicate and be able to provide regular feedback about children to the class teacher. You will have the opportunity to reinforce the school ethos, e.g. expectations of behaviour within class and elsewhere on the school site.
