What skills and experience we're looking for

Are you passionate about working with pupils to ensure they have their earning needs met in an engaging and inclusive classroom? Due to the growth of our school in both the mainstream and SEN Resource Base, we are seeking to recruit additional support staff. This role is ideally suited to those who are hardworking, patient and be able to demonstrate positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.

Successful candidates will be:

  • skilled in facilitating learning through a range of strategies. To this end applicant should be creative in their thinking so that they can foster good learning outcomes for children with a range of needs
  • willing to support the Catholic ethos of the school
  • open and approachable, demonstrating good humour and empathy
  • be hardworking, patient, enthusiastic and a great team player
  • driven to make sure all our children achieve their very best, having high expectations of behaviour and achievement
  • passionate about inclusive education and able to proactively engage with all within the school community
  • have a high standard of literacy and numeracy skills
