Teaching Assistant/Midday Supervisor job summary
We are looking for a temporary Teaching Assistant/Midday Supervisor to work initially in a KS2 Classroom and on the playground with the children at lunchtime. You will be required to support children’s learning and development, help to plan and organise activities and the learning environment as well as contribute to the overall ethos of the school. You will also be required to participate in training and other learning activities as necessary. This is a temporary post until 31st August 2022.
Experience of working with children in an educational setting is desirable and you should be able to demonstrate knowledge/understanding of the needs of all pupils. You will need to have good verbal and written communication skills and a commitment to helping children to achieve their best.
You will be joining a hard working and friendly team and you will be provided with support, guidance and training organised by our SENCo.
