What skills and experience we're looking for

St Barnabas MAT has an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistants at St Tudy School for class 1 which is a mixed age RY1Y2. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate their professionalism and skills through the application and interview process. The positions are for 25.5 hours per week - 21.75 hours Teaching Assistant and 3.75 hours Lunchtime Supervisor. The work patter will be 5 mornings and 2 afternoons per week plus lunch cover, Monday to Friday.

We are looking to appoint Teaching Assistants who can:

  • Work well as part of a caring team, under the direction of a Class Teacher.

  • Recognise the varying needs of individual learners and adjust tasks accordingly.

  • Contribute to our Church of England ethos.

  • Secure high quality relationships with parents, carers and the wider community.

  • Bring creativity and enthusiasm to each and every new day.

  • Has experience of working in a primary school supporting groups of children
