Further details about the role

Teaching Assistant Vacancy

Would you like to join a team of highly skilled professionals who value the importance of high-quality education? Would you like to work in a place where your professional development and well-being is a priority? Would you like to work in a place where a sense of humour is a requirement? If so then you may be what we are looking for.

The teaching assistant post advertised is to join a team to support a child in Key Stage One with additional, complex needs. The school have a good understanding of their needs and this is a great opportunity to work alongside colleagues and our SEND team to offer quality provision to this child. Here at Westgate, we use a team approach to support children with additional needs so there will be collaboration with other adults to support this child.

There may also be additional welfare hours available for 5 hours per week.

We are looking for individuals with personal attributes who will be able to support our children. Previous experience in a school or alternative educational setting would be desirable, but is not essential.

Please send any applications to the school by post or email to e.nutt@westgatesch.com

The closing date for applications is Friday 13th December and the proposed interview date will be week beginning 16th December.

We welcome you to come and have a look around our school and will be running a school tour on Thursday 5th December at 3.45pm. Please book your place by calling the office on 01524 832747.

Many thanks for your interest and we look forward to hearing from you.
