What skills and experience we're looking for

The appointed person will work in close partnership with the class teacher and will help to support pupils to engage with their learning. In-service training will be provided where appropriate.

We are committed to your professional development and offer extensive training opportunities, including Continuous Professional Development (CPD):Access to training sessions, workshops, and courses to enhance your skills and career prospects within the trust. You will also receive ongoing guidance and support from experienced mentors to help you grow in your role and develop your skills.

In addition to the Teaching Assistant hours, there are 5 further hours available worked over 5 lunchtimes per week (12:30pm – 13:30pm per day) as a Mealtime Assistant at Grade A (£11.60 per hour). The post holder will engage with pupils during the lunch time break to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for them.
