Chapmanslade CE VA Primary School is a unique, small village primary school set in beautiful countryside between Westbury and Frome. Our little (150 year old!) school has a wonderful community feel which we pride ourselves on. Chapmanslade School consists of four classrooms across two buildings and welcomes pupils from ages four to eleven. We currently have just under 100 pupils on roll. We are well-resourced, with a highly committed staff and a dedicated governing body. Our pupils are charming, charismatic and well-motivated.

Our school is an inclusive place where every member of our school community shows compassion and service, looking out for each other. We recognise all of our pupils as individuals, celebrating their strengths and differences. We aim to give courage to our pupils to achieve their full potential, experience personal successes and thrive in all that they do. We focus on relationships and building trust; modelling this to our wonderful young learners.

Chapmanslade School was judged Good at its last Ofsted in March 2023. “Pupils and staff are proud of their school. Parents are overwhelmingly positive. Many parents comment on how much staff care about the well-being of each pupil.”, 100% of parents would recommend Chapmanslade School to another parent (March 2023 Ofsted Report and Parentview).
