What skills and experience we're looking for
1. Classroom Assistance as directed by the Teacher
a) to provide direct one to one learning and well being support for a child with an EHCP (educational health care plan) SEND
b) to work with the child on particular activities, as specified by teaching staff and by using your own initiative;
c) prepare classroom materials specific to the individual child.
d) to monitor and regularly feedback on the child's learning and well being;
e) set out equipment as required and put away after use;
f) undertake non-teaching tasks to assist the child during lessons as directed;
g) to assist the pupil with toileting and personal hygiene as necessary.
h) to attend CPD and work closely with external agencies
i) to take a lead role in promoting and protecting the health, safety and wellbeing of the child.
k) liaise closely with other staff members and stake holders in promoting and delivering the best possible provision and outcomes for the child.

Job Description
Cleaner (3 hours per day in term time) (additional cleaning hours during school holidays)
To undertake cleaning requirements.
Essential requirements specific to St Botolph’s Primary School :
• General cleaning duties as directed and to specification.
• Cleaning and maintenance during school closures in accordance with specification.
• Ability to carry out duties in accordance with health and safety procedures.
• Ensure premises are locked/unlocked and secure as necessary.
• Ensure lights are turned off and windows are closed.
• Liaise with necessary school staff.
Specific duties
Cleaning of floors in classrooms, activity areas and toilets.
Cleaning of surfaces, tables, doors, windows and chairs.
Cleaning of toilets, urinals, basins, taps and mirrors.
Cleaning of cubical doors and hand dryers.
Cleaning of tiles. Spot cleaning walls.
