Teaching Assistant Part Time job summary

We have a rare opportunity to appoint a highly motivated person to join our successful team as a KS1 Teaching Assistant. This post would suit either someone with experience or a post graduate.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented person to work in our highly successful year 2 team for two days a week. This is a wonderful opportunity for an ambitious and hard-working individual to support teaching and learning, working with a range of children with different backgrounds, abilities and needs. You would support in all subjects and would be guided by our brilliant teachers. If you want to enjoy your job, are passionate about education and success and want to work with children, then we would love to hear from you.

Candidates will need to:

  • Have some experience or knowledge of working with children
  • Be able to communicate well with pupils, colleagues and parents
  • Have patience and calmness and be proactive in dealing with challenges
  • Have gained at least a 4 or above (or the equivalent of) in GCSE English and maths

Hours: 13.5 hours per week. Thursday and Friday 8.30am - 3.45pm (term-time only).

L2 (SCP 4-5) £24,404 FTE (£7,517 pro rata annual salary).
