Patrington Church of England Primary Academy we are looking to recruit a caring
and dedicated Teaching Assistant.This position is to work 8.30am – 3.30pm
Monday to Friday during the school term time.

Teaching Assistant you will be passionate about teaching and learning and
believe in developing the true potential of children. You will have a calm and
positive disposition, the ability to break down activities into small step
teaching and will nurture, inspire, challenge and motivate pupils. Implementing
clear boundaries and routines, you will use positive behaviour management in
all areas around school.
We are looking for someone who has experience of working
with children in a supportive capacity and has good verbal communication
skills. Strong time management, organisational skills and the ability to work
well as part of a team are all essential to this role.
As a Teaching Assistant you will play a key role in the
children’s day, helping to support them in the classroom, breaking down
activities in to smaller step by step teaching to ensure they get the most out
of their learning. You will also guide the children to help them to develop
friendships and relationships with other adults in the school and their peers.
Ideally you will be an experienced Teaching Assistant with
knowledge and understanding with regards to child development and the
