We are seeking to appoint a flexible, skilled and compassionate Teaching Assistant to work within our Reception unit at Paxcroft Primary School. Candidates will ideally have a track record of working positively with children and forming good relationships with teachers. For the successful candidate, this will be a fantastic opportunity to develop skills and experience in a new, exciting Early Years setting. Visits to our site to see our Reception unit are encouraged and can be booked in through our school office.

The post holder will support children’s learning in class lessons, work with selected groups, support individuals with specific support plans and further the positive school experience of the pupils. We would also be looking to include an hour’s lunch supervision. Experience with particular Special Needs, eg autistic spectrum disorder, would be desirable.
