We have two exciting opportunities to work in our school as a teaching assistant. The roles are permanent positions, ideally for an experienced teaching assistant or for someone considerting initial teacher training in the future.
The teaching assistant positions will involve working closely with the class teachers and any other teaching assistants to meet the needs of the class as well as individual children with SEND.
The positions are full days, 5 days a week, 8:35-3:15. Duties will include lunchtime duty and there may be additional hours available for breakfast club or after school club.
We are looking for the right people for the job; above all, you must be compassionate, energetic, motivated and resilient.
Knowledge and understanding of a range of learning barriers including communication, behavioural, and emotional needs are essential. We are looking for someone with strong skills in supporting children with phonics, reading, maths and are highly effective at working with children to support their learning across the curriculum in the classroom.
