What skills and experience we're looking for
The prime responsibility will be to provide class-based learning support for children in KS1 or KS2. There may also be a significant element of supporting children with additional needs. Please note that supervising children at lunchtime is also a key requirement of the role.
This is an exciting opportunity for graduates or school leavers who are considering entering the teaching profession and wish to gain some experience before applying to initial teacher training providers.
You must have a genuine interest in working with children and entering the education profession. You will have lots of energy, resilience, be keen to learn and willing to have a go. We would welcome any specialist skills such as music, art, drama, dance or sport etc as we would work with you to ensure you get the opportunity to develop these with our children.

Applications from recent graduates or sixth formers welcome. We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant on a permanent contract for 30 hours per week, starting in January 2024. The post is Monday to Friday, term time only.
