Teaching Assistant – Level 3
24 hours a week, term time only
The Pilgrim PRU is an Ofsted registered outstanding medical needs provision which provides education across four hospital schools.
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic TA to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team of skilled and friendly practitioners who are committed to providing high quality learning opportunities to young people during their time at the Phoenix Centre.
The Phoenix Centre is a residential Tier 4 hospital centre that works with young people from 13- 18 years old with complex eating disorders. All pupils are taught in small teaching groups or on a one to one basis.

This is a unique opportunity to gain experience of working with young people with mental health difficulties as part of a multi-disciplinary team and would suit a graduate who is interested in a career in teaching or psychology.

Pilgrim Pathways School is an OFSTED outstanding alternative provision, which encompasses 4 hospital schools. The Darwin Centre is an adolescent psychiatric unit for young people from the ages of 12 -18 years old with mental health difficulties. The Phoenix Centre is for young people from 12- 18 years old with eating disorders. The Croft Children and Families Centre is for children and their families with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties, and the education team at Addenbrooke’s Hospital Education and Outreach Service work with children with physical health conditions.
