Teaching Assistant job summary

We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our team. Applications are welcome from enthusiastic, suitably qualified and inspiring applicants to work in our school. The successful applicants will be working along a dedicated team of teachers to support pupils learning in the classroom.

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have strong verbal and written communication skills

• Can work diligently under instruction/ guidance of teaching staff

• Have an understanding of the Curriculum and some experience of how to raise standards

• Have the ability to effectively deal with the day-to-day tasks of a busy school

• Are friendly, well organised, flexible and have proven ability to communicate with staff, children and parents

• Able to promote and safeguard the welfare of children in class and school
