About the Role:

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning, working closely with specific groups of children within the classroom to help them reach their full potential. This is a general Teaching Assistant position, with the initial focus on supporting pupils in Key Stage 2.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Working with specific groups of children, providing tailored support to meet their individual needs.
  • Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation, classroom management, and pupil engagement.
  • Promoting a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment.
  • Supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of pupils.

Essential Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their educational development.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the school and pupils.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or educational setting is desirable but not essential.
