A really exciting opportunity has arisen at our school. Poringland Primary School and Nursery are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, self-motivated and nurturing person to work with our the wonderful children at our school!
We are looking for someone who is flexible and adaptable as the role will be across EYFS and KS2! The successful applicant will work in a Reception class one day a week (Friday) and a Y4 class for a morning (Monday). Our school is a happy and inclusive place to work where our vision and values are at the heart of everything we do.
We are looking for someone who:
As a Teaching assistant:
- Can support the teacher to deliver lessons
- Has experience of working with children in a school
- Is happy to work as part of a team
- Is able to support behaviour and wellbeing of children as well as promoting educational outcomes
- Is able to support children through lunchtimes
- Can use their own initiative to ensure a job is completed to a high standard
- Respectfully engages with parents, colleagues and external professionals in order to successfully work in partnership to uphold children's well-being
