Teaching Assistant Primary focus on English job summary
The main subject focus for this post is English, though the successful candidate will need to be adaptable to any teaching area of school. The primary role of this teaching assistant role is to work with teachers and other colleagues to raise the progress and attainment of pupils while also promoting their independence, self-esteem, wellbeing and social inclusion. They give assistance to pupils so that they can access the curriculum, participate in learning and personal development activities and experience a sense of achievement. This person is a role model within the team and will support the day to day running of the Faculty to the highest standard. They report to the Assistant SENCO/SENCO.
