• Pay scale: National Joint Council scale point 3 – 6, depending on the candidate’s experience.

What skills and experience we're looking for

Pudsey Waterloo Primary School are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our strong school team and support teaching and learning in our school, for a September 2023 start. The age group for this role is Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 – the specific year group will be decided depending on the candidates’ experience and expertise. This position is fixed term for one year in the first instance.

This post is to support children with additional needs. This vacancy will suit candidates who are enthusiastic, highly motivated, and have the best outcomes for children at heart. Knowledge and/or experience of pupils with SEN is preferable but not required.

• A passion for supporting children to learn.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as a team with staff, parents and outside agencies.
• Energy and enthusiasm for this exciting challenge.

• Knowledge and experience of the national curriculum.
