Teaching Assistant (Pupil Support) Level 2 job summary
To work under the guidance of teaching/senior staff and within an agreed system of supervision (subject to the direction and supervision of a teacher), to implement agreed work programmes with an individual or group in or out of the classroom. This could included 1:1 support for a child requiring detailed and specialist knowledge in particular areas and will involve assisting the teacher in the whole planning cycle and the management/preparation of resources.
