What skills and experience we're looking for

The role will involve working in partnership with the class teacher, supporting groups of children in the classroom and delivering planned learning to groups or individuals. In addition, the role may also involve supporting pupils with specific learning and behavioural needs on a 1:1 basis.

Applicants will be required to:

  • Exhibit their commitment to maintaining a robust culture of safeguarding
  • Live the values of the Trust
  • Have GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C) including English and Maths
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal communication skills
  • Have the ability to build effective working relationships with pupils and adults
  • Have skills and expertise to understand the needs of all pupils
  • Show confidence in supporting children in their learning and wellbeing
  • A commitment to getting the best outcomes for all pupils
  • Maintain confidentiality
