  • 15 hours per week - 5 x Mornings 8.45am-12.00pm or the same hours depending on structure of class start times in the morning. (15 minute break per day applied)
• Contract type: Fixed term (The contract will last as long as we have the funding to support the child / ren or until the child / ren leave the school, whichever is the sooner. This is expected to be Summer 2025)
• Annual or full time equivalent salary: £18,516
• Actual salary: £6,458

TEACHING ASSISTANT - REQUIRED TO WORK ON A 1:1 BASIS WITH CHILDREN WHO HAVE SPECIFIC LEARNING NEEDS job summary

We are seeking to appoint a 1:1 Teaching Assistant on a temporary, part-tie basis to work with children with children who have special learning needs.

• Provide 1:1 and small group work to support a child with additional needs
• Provide structured support, including tutorial support, in accordance with specific work programmes designed and supervised by individual teachers
• Use specialist knowledge/experience to provide appropriate support to the pupil in relation to their individual needs, e.g. behaviour management strategies
• Involvement in the development and implementation of Individual Education, Behaviour, Support and Mentoring plans
• Be passionate about working with children who have SEN and be able to assist in their social, health and hygiene development

St Anne’s C.E. (V.C.) Primary School is a one form entry school for children aged 4-11 years old. There are approximately 200 children in the school which is situated in the small village of Brown Edge on the outskirts of Stoke-on-Trent and the Staffordshire Moorlands. We are very proud to be a Church School and the Christian ethos that is embedded throughout the school contributes to the happy atmosphere in our school.
