At Malmesbury Park Primary Academy, we believe every child deserves the very best education, opportunities to shine and the chance to achieve their hopes and dreams. We place learning at the heart of all we do, driving this through the development of our six learning values (Thinking, Independence, Collaboration, Creativity, Spirituality and Emotional Intelligence) within the school curriculum. Our curriculum is designed to meet the needs of our learners, providing them with rich, memorable and meaningful experiences.

We offer a stimulating, exciting, enriching curriculum designed to challenge, motivate and inspire children. Underpinned by the school ethos and learning values, our curriculum is broad, balanced and ensures continuity and progression in key skills, knowledge and understanding. Our curriculum, taught through an integrated approach, ensures learning becomes meaningful, relevant and purposeful and supported by the discrete teaching of maths, PE, MFL and Music ensures subject specific skills are delivered to a high standard. A wide range of opportunities and experiences are offered - visits out (including residential trips), having ‘experts in their field’ working in school alongside the children and engaging with the local community. These opportunities enrich the curriculum and support understanding of how skills learnt in school are applied in the world of work whilst ensuring children develop both personal and academic skills and achieve success.

We are a very diverse community, with over thirty-eight languages being spoken within the school. This is something we celebrate and welcome as it brings with it a rich and varied culture.

The children at Malmesbury Park Primary School enjoy learning about different countries and cultures, and are supportive and respectful of one another. The team at Malmesbury Park Primary School is large but like-minded. We are a team of confident, outgoing and skilled teachers, NQTs, teaching assistants, support staff and SLT who work closely together with one common ambition – providing an excellent education to the bright young minds of tomorrow.

Reach South is a young and developing Trust which operates across the South West of England with the aim of delivering all through 3-19 education. We operate 14 academies in Plymouth, Bournemouth, Dorset and Wiltshire.
