£8,072 (Actual Per Annum)
Hours: 15 Hours Per Week, Term Time Only

Fixed Term for 12 Months
We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our established and expanding team, providing support to pupils, including those with special needs. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about education and has a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of young people. Previous SEN experience / a specialism in Speech, Language and Communication is desirable. The successful applicant will follow a programme of support clearly defined by the SENCo, and work alongside teaching and other appropriate staff dependent on the nature of the particular needs of the pupils.
This is a fixed term position which is linked to funding, therefore if the funding is stopped the role will cease.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting teachers in delivering high-quality lessons to students
Promoting positive behaviour and maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment
Helping to maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour
Requirements:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well as part of a team and use initiative when required
