Part time: This post is a one Year Fixed Term contract, 27.1 hours per week, term time only to start in September 2026. In addition to this, the successful applicant will be required to fulfil a contract for 5 hours per week as a Midday Supervisor (term time only).

What skills and experience we're looking for

This post will primarily be a TA position, however the successful candidate will also need to be able to cover classes as a HLTA and will be paid for this period of time appropriately.


We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who:

- enjoys working 1-1 with children with additional needs, particularly those with ADHD /ASD as well as working with groups of children

- is calm, sensitive and understanding

- has an optimistic, creative, problem solving approach

- has an ability to build effective working relationships with pupils and adults

- is committed to getting the best outcomes for all pupils and promoting the ethos and values of the school

- has a proven ability to lead whole class sessions when needed
