Teaching Assistant (SEN) job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual to be part of the team at Yeoman Park Academy. The academy offers high quality, inclusive education for young people aged 3 - 18 who experience complex learning difficulties. The academy is committed to child centred learning and works closely with parents and carers to prepare pupils for the next stage of their lives. The role is for a fixed term period until July 2020, working 37 hours per week, term time only.
Job title: Teaching Assistant
Salary: Grade 3 (FTE Salary £18065 to £18800, Actual salary £15424 to £16052)
Hours of work: 37 per week, term time only
Start date: January 2020 (fixed term until July 2020)
Closing date: 15 December 2019
The successful candidates will support pupils with severe learning difficulties throughout the academy. You must be qualified in a relevant childcare qualification to at least NNEB, NVQ3 (or equivalent). Previous experience of working within SEN is desirable.
