Teaching Assistant (SEND) job summary
Devoran School is looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Year 6 TA with HLTA status to work with and support our oldest children, some of whom may have Special Educational Needs. This position will be for a total of 27.5 hours per week. The school also has a vacancy for a Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant for a total of 5 hours per week in addition to the TA Teaching Assistant (SEND) position. The successful applicant should hold HLTA status and will be expected to cover PPA as required (and will be paid for this accordingly on an HLTA rate). We would be happy to discuss this further at interview. This role will commence from 11th October 2021 – or as soon after - and will be fixed term for a year in the first instance.
