What skills and experience we're looking for
Starting Date - May 2023
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work supporting SEN children in our school. The role would include some level of intimate care but training will be given to the successful candidate. We are looking for a candidate with:
- A caring, confident and understanding nature
- The ability to adapt to changes during the day
- Willingness to undertake intimate care training in relation to the role
- The ability to support pupils’ learning activities
- Commitment to safeguarding, inclusive practice and equal opportunities for all
The right candidate will have:-
- Competency in English and Maths
- A proven ability to work on their own initiative
- A high level of communication skills and the ability to relate positively to children and adults
- A commitment to the happiness wellbeing, self esteem and progress of everyone at the school
