The First Federation Trust, a Multi Academy Trust of 29 primary schools across Devon, West Dorset & Plymouth, is looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to join the hard-working and friendly team at Sidmouth Primary School.


Sidmouth Church of England Primary School provides a vibrant and exciting learning environment where all children are provided with opportunities to succeed, and cared for as unique individuals. We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and highly motivated individual to work alongside the class teacher across all areas of the curriculum.

  • To deliver targeted interventions.
  • To promote inclusion through the development of social skills, language and emotional well-being.
  • To work under the direction of the class teacher and liaise with other professionals both within and outside the school
  • You will be expected to show a high degree of initiative and be able to react to given situations with integrity and compassion

The position is for 19.5 hours per week, Monday to Wednesday.

Term time only (38 weeks per year)

Fixed term until 31st August 2026
