Teaching Assistant - SJO Secondary Phase job summary
We have several vacancies for enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistants to join the Secondary Phase of our all-through school (ages 2–16). This is a unique and exciting opportunity to be part of a growing team and help provide outstanding learning and support for our students. The role will include providing learning support in lessons and other areas of school life.
We are looking for teaching assistants who:
have excellent communication, numeracy, and literacy skills
have high expectations for all students and a strong belief that every young person can thrive
demonstrate an ability to nurture and support all students, including those with complex learning, emotional, or other needs
are committed to helping all students make excellent progress and model our school values and ethos in everything they do
have excellent interpersonal skills and can communicate effectively (and work successfully with) colleagues, parents, and students
