Teaching Assistant – Social Emotional Mental Health job summary
We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant. The successful applicant will contribute to the inclusion work within school by helping to raise standards of achievement for students with SEND. The post will include supporting students with social, emotional and mental health difficulties across KS3 and KS4, both in class and on a 1-1 or small group basis within our Student Support Centre.
Experience of working with school age students and a specialism in SEMH is desirable, but training will be given to the successful candidate.
The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post, will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
