Teaching Assistant (Special Schools Band 1) job summary

The Greenfield Centre at Bodmin College is an Area Resource Base with 40 students, all of whom have an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP).

Our Teaching Assistants take a pro-active role in the support of the educational, social and physical needs of our students, supporting the curriculum and the school, assisting the teacher in the practical organisation of class activities and small group work, also meeting the needs for learning support in relation to severe physical, learning and complex behavioural difficulties.
