Teaching Assistant job summary
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic teaching assistant to work in Reception and KS1 for 11 hours per week, term time only. The working hours will be Monday to Friday afternoons 1pm – 3.15pm (Friday 3pm finish).
The successful candidate will:
• have an understanding of SEN
• have the ability to liaise effectively with colleagues and parents
• be able to use their initiative and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability
• have a willingness to learn and take on new ideas
• have good team-working capacity
The successful candidate will need energy and enthusiasm, the ability to work in a busy environment, excellent communication and liaison skills. They will be closely supported by the class teacher along with all staff in our very dedicated and highly motivated team at St Barnabas.
Hours of work: 11 hours per week
Contract type: Temporary
