TEACHING ASSISTANT

Level 2/3, dependent on qualifications & experience

Required September 2024 -permanent contract

31 hours a week ( Monday to Friday term time only)


BAND C: £23,500-£24,702 per annum (£16,860-£17,723) pro rata, or

E: £26,873-29,777 (£19,280 -£21,364)

Primarily supporting SEND students, we are seeking an NVQ Level 2/3 qualified Teaching Assistant or equivalent.

Our extremely popular school is situated in leafy Compton Park, adjacent to the Wolves Academy training grounds, with its wonderful open fields and sports facilities.

You will:

  • Work under the direction and guidance of teaching / senior staff to support individual pupils with complex medical/learning needs and to support groups in their learning.

  • Work across the academy to deliver specific intervention programmes, for which training will be provided.

  • Assist teachers in the whole planning cycle and the management/preparation of resources.

  • You may also be required to supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers.

  • Ensure professional relationships with staff, parents, students and other professionals.

  • Contribute to the strong Catholic ethos of our Academies
