St Edmund's Primary School is a small primary school in the market town of Bungay. We are part of a federation with St Benet's in Beccles and the wider Catholic MAT of St John the Baptist, who seek to work collaboratively to share best practice and utilise resources for the benefit of all our pupils and members of our communities.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with strong inter-personal skills and a genuine interest in supporting children with their learning. The role involves supporting a specific student with their individual learning needs on a part time basis. You will:

• Have experience of working with children and supporting their learning, ideally in a primary school setting;
• Have the highest expectations of children and support them to achieve these;
• Have strong literacy and numeracy skills;
• Be able to think on your feet, show initiative and be a team player;
• Be a role model in your attitude to others and in your conduct around school;
• Have a positive mind-set that encourages and establishes supportive relationships with children, parents and staff.
• Be supportive of the Catholic Ethos of the school

The role would initially be available on a temporary basis with the strong intention of extending this contract for the right candidate.
