Teaching Assistant job summary
We are looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic member of staff to become an essential part of the team. Duties will include:
- Supporting the learning of specific students with additional educational needs
- Maintaining student’s targeted support both in the classroom and with specially designed interventions.
- Extended support to other children in the class; leading small groups and working with other individuals.
- Assisting the class teacher with the classroom environment and resources.
- Assisting with student specific individual care; additional responsibility payment available
The ideal candidate will have a good standard of written and spoken English, and Maths skills (minimum Grade 4 GCSE or equivalent) to support children up to Key Stage 4.
