Teaching Assistant job summary

We are looking for an organised, engaging and effective individual to work with one child with additional needs to provide support within a group, whole class setting and 1:1 to meet individual targets. The post will be temporary in the first instance with the possibility of becoming permanent. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication, numeracy and literacy skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all members of staff. Experience or some understanding of children with varying needs including ASD/speech and language and a positive attitude are essential skills for the role.
